Workshops & Events
We often forget that we are nature. Nature is not something separate from us. So when we say that we have lost our connection to nature, we’ve lost our connection to ourselves.Andy Goldsworthy
As well as leading our own events, we work closely with a number of really experienced, wonderful people to offer a range of woodland based activities including wellbeing, meditation, yoga, bushcraft, archery, children's parties and forest school sessions.
If you'd like to join us and discuss running sessions please get in touch and let's have a chat.

Seasonal Wellbeing
Ruth and Lorna lead our seasonal wellbeing programme. This includes meditation, mindfulness and creative writing. Sessions take place in our woodland and fields (with a campfire and hot drinks) and help you feel connected to the natural world so you leave feeling grounded and calm.

Spoon Carving
New for 2025 are our Spoon Carving workshops. Kathryn and Becks bring their carving skills to Found Outdoors in our newly fitted out woodworking space. Kathryn is a local artist and spoon carver who has previously been involved in our children's wellbeing retreats.

Art
This year artist James Aldridge is bringing a new series of three creative workshops - The Art of Rewilding. This is a series of art and ecology day workshops using visual arts methods to explore the relationship between ecological and human well-being.
Each day will focus on a different aspect of the land at Found Outdoors and introduce participants to new materials and equipment, to explore, record and share the plant and animal life found living there. Bookings are live now, full details here...
